Who can become a member?

​

  • The Maison des femmes autistes du Québec is a non-mixed space for women and nonbinary people;

  • Any woman or nonbinary person can become a member, regardless of whether they are autistic themself or not. However, in order to respect the organization's mission, autistic members have priority during elections to the Board of Directors and certain activities are reserved for them;

  • You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to be a voting member. Women and nonbinary people from fourteen (14) to seventeen (17) years old can be observer board members and do not have the right to vote.

Why become a member?

​

  • Members are at the heart of the democratic life of the organization! They have the right to speak, propose and vote at general meetings;

  • Members join a community of people who share the same interests;

  • Members participate in activities reserved for them;

  • The members concretely support the mission of the organization;

  • Members contribute financially to the development of the organization's activities through the payment of an annual membership fee.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

OPTION 1

Complete your membership susbcription online thanks to Simplyk, the only ticket office for NPOs that gives us 100% of payments. A contribution to support them will be suggested to you upon confirmation. Click on the following button:

OPTION 2

Print and complete the membership form, then send it by mail to 765, rue Beaubien Est, PO Box 184, Montreal (Quebec) H2S 1S8 . Enclose a check in the amount of $ fifteen (15) made out to Maison des femmes autistes du Québec.

OPTION 3

Complete the membership form in person during the organization's activities. You can then make a payment by check or cash.
